Yeah, the whole discovering asperger syndrome thing is wonderful, but
it doesn't really teach you about how to live in the world does it?
As a child I had most of those interests and I still do but I
gravitated towards the technological side of things which I think
helped a lot because I now have the ability and motivation to deal
with the complexity of socialising.
Feel free to join this group and do have a look at the other sites
linked to in the "pages" section of this group. There are many
different autie social groups in Melbourne. Also, if you feel like
socialising, it might be a good idea to go to clubs related to your
interests. Just looking at that list, there are numerous clubs
related to all of them.
