Just quickly, a couple of us were talking about holding a second lunch
every month, given that quite often not all of us can make it.

As it turns out, the Box Hill dinner club appears to have been
abandoned, which frees up some calendar space for another lunch club.

Another thing I've been wondering about is whether it would be best to
hold the new lunch on a time of the week other than monday, wednesday
and thursday evenings and sunday afternoon.  People can often be quite
attached to their calendars and some can't make it to these things due
to having prior engagements.

Perhaps we should hold the other lunch meeting on the second saturday?

These are just ideas ATM.  Any comments?

That could be OK but I think we need an activity to go with it (at
least I want one anyway).
Something planned and agreed to beforehand. Either as a regular thing
each time or a varied activity which is different each time.

I'm imagining things like:
 - visiting an art gallery
 - walking the Yarra Trail from the CBD to Dights Falls and then back
through Nth Richmond
 - an afternoon at the pub
 - going to see a movie
 - insert fun idea of your choice here

Sounds good, Williamstown is great to walk round, lots to see and it's all
flat and easy going too. A BBQ would be fun.
