future-talks

These are all the people that have volunteered to give talks at future Ruby meetups. If you have a talk you'd like to give, add yourself to the list.? Talks can be short of long:

  • long = 30-45 minutes + 15 minutes for questions
  • short = 10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions

Ideally we'll have a few short talks plus a long talk at each meeting.

People are welcome to do a short talk to test the waters on a topic, and then follow it up with a long talk at a later date if there's interest.

[Feel free to indicate your interest in talks by adding your initials inside the square brackets.]

Great idea!
I think it would be useful to get some indication of interest for each
of which of the proposed talks. I've started the ball rolling by
appending my initials to the ones I'm particularly interested in hearing.
Do others think this is worthwhile? If so, I urge you to mark the talks
you're interested in a similar way:

You can add mine on, and here is a heading (short talk):
How Rails scaffold pattern and harddisks breaks the intent of ACID in
your database and remedies available
Ian
I am flat chat before this meeting, so not this one, but the following
one would be fine.
