  you can download the program for free and try it on your computer to &lt;br&gt; see how it runs. i think it will basically work on your machine but &lt;br&gt; probably be a little bit sluggish. you will need some type of audio &lt;br&gt; interface to get the audio out though. any mac before the intel based &lt;br&gt; macs are pretty lame when it comes to putting out sound from pro audio

  The other day I stated that this was not a problem, now it is. Got &lt;br&gt; things running now, but one of my drums will shut off, seems like &lt;br&gt; during playing a lot of notes in sequence. I have to go back into &lt;br&gt; battery and turn the mandala off/on. And, no I&#39;m not running through &lt;br&gt; a hub, it&#39;s directly to the pc. Any thoughts? I&#39;m reluctantly thinking

  just plain control burst gives you no control of how the mandala will &lt;br&gt; be set up. it pumps a configuration into your pad which is exactly &lt;br&gt; the way it should be for the mandala battery 3 presets that the &lt;br&gt; company made. control burst exp is more advanced and lets users set &lt;br&gt; the pad any way they want for any program. there&#39;s a good explanation

  you can do it that way (disconnect one at a time) or just make sure &lt;br&gt; you properly change the settings for each device in control burst as &lt;br&gt; you set up each pad and then disconnect them all at once (PC only, Mac &lt;br&gt; requires no disconnection) and quit control burst. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;either way you&#39;ll need to understand how to use battery. cells can

  You could connect and set up each drum one at at time, so there&#39;s no &lt;br&gt; chance for control burst or the vb to mess up already finished &lt;br&gt; configurations. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;- connect the pad you want to configure &lt;br&gt; - use control burst to set it up &lt;br&gt; - disconnect the drum &lt;br&gt; - close control burst &lt;br&gt; - connect the next pad and repeat (with the next midi channel)

  have you read the readme file that was in your downloaded mandala &lt;br&gt; battery folder? it tells you that when you load a preset the audio &lt;br&gt; files will come up as &#39;missing&#39; so just choose &#39;browse&#39; and direct it &lt;br&gt; toward the folder called &#39;Battery 3 Library&#39; and you&#39;ll be fine. it&#39;s &lt;br&gt; just a matter of pointing battery at the audio files it wants, and

  It&#39;s up to you how you want to set up the zones/midi channels. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I like to set up each pad to a single MIDI channel: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;1. choose the mandala &lt;br&gt; 2. choose the number of zones (i use 6) &lt;br&gt; 3. set zone 1 to channel 1 and note 60 (which is C3, but it&#39;s up to &lt;br&gt; you which note you choose) &lt;br&gt; set zone 2 to channel 1 and note 61

  what kind of hub are you using? is it powered? if you can avoid any &lt;br&gt; hub at all you&#39;d probably be better off...either by using actual usb &lt;br&gt; ports on your machine or getting a card with ports on it.

You have to register &lt;br&gt; and login to be able to download, but it&#39;s free.   you have to go to File&amp;gt;Preferences and click the green &#39;Pad Center &lt;br&gt; Position Calibration&#39; button then follow the directions that come up. &lt;br&gt; it sounds like you are just looking at the Velocity Boost parameters. &lt;br&gt; those have nothing to do with the calibration routine.

  I want to use the VB app in Cubase, so I downloaded VAC and installed &lt;br&gt; it. Problem is the VB software doesn&#39;t see the driver. I&#39;ve tried &lt;br&gt; several other applications and they see VAC fine. Any ideas? I am &lt;br&gt; running WinXP SP3, the latest VB software and the latest VAC. I have &lt;br&gt; an M-Audio Profire 2626.

  your preset file has most likely been corrupted somehow. just &lt;br&gt; reinstall from the dvd, or download and install from the website.
