Subject: Audio preferences not saving
I had my mandala stored for a few months when I moved, just
reinstalled the full version brain and things aren't working. It shows
up in device manager as 'USB audio device'. When I set up the drivers
page, it wont seem to save (nor does it work). I am confident I have
the setting right. I use a tascam 1641 and an M-Audio Audiophile
24/96. I have tried to use both as output devices, and i can get a
test tone with either one. I set the pad #1 to be USB audio device and
turned it on. After all is said and done, I save my prefs and try to
play. When I hit my pad, it used to show a '#1' light up on the pad
window... now I get nothing. Its like my pad is not sending any
messages to my computer. When I pull up the driver window again,
everything is still correct, but when I restart the brain, all of my
driver prefs are gone, even though I saved them.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
-Mike

OK... finally got my pad to make some sound.
I didn't do anything different, just changed patches and the thing
woke up.
It still won't save my driver preferences, so i have to re set it up
every time. PITA!
Why wouldn't it save? I click the little save button and the green
light comes on, but thats it, does not actually save.

sounds like you moved your vb app from the vb folder where all its
support files are.  either that or you did some kind of shortcut thing
that is causing a problem.  check those things out and you'll probably
be okay.
