1) Go out and buy a UPS :-)
2) Your spooler files are corrupt (error 2007), use :SP-NEWTAB to rebuild them, but remember that you will lose all jobs in the spooler;
3) You need to check all the other files on your system with the jcheck command;
4) Find out why your system crashed and fix that ;-)

Hi All,

Our System runs on Linux Server. We have the following issues

- the sever that has the emerge tripped off and at that time there was
a file sent to the server to print
-after the server was restarted we noticed that the printer could not
be initialized to print
-the system flags an error message when initializing the printer

Virtually none of the T24 postings relate to jBase anymore. T24
people might be interested in jBase postings. But for jBase
people, I think T24 traffic is just more to filter manually or
automatically.

So would it be worthwhile to create a poll somewhere for people

Thanks Dan, adding the check for system(14) didn't work either but it
did point me to where the problem is, although I still don't know how
to correct it. The problem is system(14) always returns a zero which
tells me the spooler is not outputting to the stdout which is why
nothing gets put in the stdin.

Hi,
You can get the time with the following:
T.TIME = TIMEDATE()[1,8]

I think you should attach a light routine to a field and then pass its
value in the Header

The spooler is not going to set idle (why does this word come up all
the time ;-) ) waiting for your program to terminate

It doesn't matter HOW you do your input. The code first needs to check
to see if there is anything TO input. Otherwise you will get that
error.

If you are still having problems, post the code.

Command to find jbase files in a directory

Dear All,
I want to know the command to find out the jbase files in a
directory. For eg if there are many files/directories present in a
particular directory my task is to list only jbase files of type like
J4,J3,JP,JR.

result as when I don't use the REUSE. I should have sent the definition of
the I-Desc I was creating. But with the example you sent, I recreated it,
