Subject: Is Your Insurance Supplier Looking After You?
Do you feel 100% sure that if you made a claim you would receive the
goods?
Would the claim be simple and painless after a loss returning your
standard of living to what you are accustomed to?

If you are under-insured either on your home or contents there could
be a problem with the claim. How is your insurance supplier making you
aware of under-insurance. People that are under-insured usually find
out at the time of claim! Does your insurance supplier ask you for an
annual ammendment to the policy of all good purchased? If not the
5-10% increase they added to the contents cover may not be
sufficient!

More questions for thought!

 - What is the annual increase in premium made up of?
 - Are you aware of the severity of under-insurance problem in
Australia?
 - Has your insurance supplier made you aware that you may be under-
insured?
 - If you suspect you may be under-insured how & when are you going to
correct your cover?
 - If you suffered a 100% loss and were only 65% covered could you
replace the missing 35%?
 - If you have corrected this under-insurance, do you have an up to
date inventory?
 - When are you going to start your home inventory?
 - If you have an home inventory is it stored in a fire data safe or
outside of your home?

If you know your insurance supplier is really taking care of you,
share the knowledge!
