 The Harper Group

Mechanistic and Physical Organic Chemistry

Welcome to the group website for the Harper Research Group in the School of Chemistry at UNSW.  The research group currently has approximately seven members and the areas we investigate focus on physical organic chemistry in its broadest sense.  This ranges from detailed investigation of reaction mechanisms through novel methods to follow chemical kinetics to innovative ways to modify surfaces.  From this page, you should be able to access information about the research group.  For any queries, contact Dr Jason Harper.

NEWS:

December 2008 - Merry Christmas! It's be a long time since a news update, but some big things.  Congrats to SJ on completing honours (and getting a fantastic first).  It was also a big week last week, with three papers being accepted.  Of particular note, congratulations to Camille and to SJ for publications in Tetrahedron Letters and  Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry, respectively.

A news archive is also available.
