Subject: New songsheet link
Hi all

I've just been asked to add a link to a ukulele songbook...so I've
done it!! There are some good songs on the site...including Mamma Mia
which we were considering doing...and it's complete with uke chord
images!! The site is

http://www.scorpex.net/uke.htm

It belongs to a guy called Richard who is part of the Adelaide Ukulele
Appreciation Society...maybe even the founder, I'm not sure. He said
they get over 50 people to the get togethers!! Can you imagine???

Anyway...hope you find something you like!

Cheers...Jennifer

Hi Jennifer and all at HUG,

I'm happy to share my songbook but I must set the record straight....I
was present at the birth of AUAS, but not the conception.  The Tonkin
Family of the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel along with Don Morrison (local
Adelaide luthier of resonator guitars, mandos and ukes....see www.donmo.com
) are the real founders.  I was just lucky enough to turn up on the
first night.

If any of you are visiting Adelaide you can meet us at the Gov (Port
Road Brompton, opposite the Adelaide Entertainment Centre) on the
second and fourth Tuesday nights of the month at 7 pm.  As Jennifer
says, we get 50+ a strummin' and a pickin' most nights.  Ukes are on
fire here!

Cheersw,

Richard
