Subject: Lots of 404 Crawl Errors?
Hi

Our Google Webmaster Tools account is showing loads of 404 errors in
the last week. However, all of these pages seem to appear fine when I
click on them

Has anyone else experienced any problems?

Ben

Hi Ben,
I too am having the exact same problem. I add an events calendar to my
website about 2 months ago. Removed right away when I saw that I
didn't like the set up. Now google is giving me a ton of 404 (not
found) errors. I try to go under tools and remove the url and that
normally helps. It takes me a long time and then I checked today and I
have almost 300! I hope someone can help us!

You have to give examples. Also check the date they were reported. If
it's past, it may have been a transient problem with the serevr.

You did remove the calendar so you have to expect that all that got
indexed from it rpeviulsy will come back as a 404 now.
It's normal.
