Subject: indexed pages went away. help
A few months ago i got a webmaster sitemap tools warning that my site
had to many redirects in it. rivercity-entertainment.com was being
redirected to www.rivercity-entertainment.com. Upon checking, the
program I'm using thru my hosting company changed the way it was
automatically creating my sitemap to exclude the www. prefix on my
urls listed in the sitemap . I changed the redirect at their advice,
but no difference seems apparent. Can someone tell me what i can do to
get the urls in my sitemap re-indexed?

Riiight.

I can see no redirects - both www and non-www addresses resolve with
200 server responses and load the home page.

There's no robots.txt, so no way the other search engines can discover
the sitemap.

The sitemap is built for the non-www addresses but in upper case?

A 404 produces the right server response but loads the home page.

Some of the HTML validation errors are egregious - they should be
reviewed.

The sitemap starts off with a BOM - this (and the upper case domain
names) really needs addressing.

A sitemap has very little if anything to do with the pages being
indexed.

Spam like this: http://www.rivercity-entertainment.com/Resources.html
however does.

Seems to me that the links in your sitemap.xml are all indexed:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:rivercity-entertainment.com&num=1...
