We'd probably need to know your site's URL to say much of anything --
as well as where exactly you see the "translate page".

I think you may be thinking about the "notranslate" meta tag -- it's
covered briefly at http://www.google.com/help/faq_translation.html#donttrans

To use it, just place the following code into your page's <head>
section:
<meta name="google" value="notranslate">

This meta tag needs to be used on a page-by-page basis, so you would
have to place it on all pages within your site if you want to hide the
translation link on all of them.
