Matt Cutts confirmed today that Google plans to discontinue the green
pixel Page Rank starting the first of the year. He stated that too
many webmasters game the system and use it as a method of selling
links which is strictly against Googles rules. Click here for the

I'm still laughing my ass off, the really funny thing is I think it's
probably not nearly as funny as I think it is right now.

Just think of the work we could get through here if that went away.

That and a media daughter tag in sitemaps (Google _STILL_ doesn't
'get' mobile devices) would almost make up for the new group format.
