Yes, this is funny enough ...

It's not the first time we see things like that ... must be something
wrong in nameserver or webserver configs?

Not a google mistake. A mistake with your host and the nameserver/DNS
set up.

Hi Hypnotist  and welcome to the groups!

This does look like it was caused by some kind of issue on the hosting
side. From what I can tell, it appears to have since been resolved, so
things should return to normal over time. It's impossible to say how
long that will be however, since there are always many factors
involved in crawling, indexing and ranking.

Hope it helps!
John

How could this possibly happen when the sites are on different IP's,
Hosting, Nameservers, Registrars?

Does this mean someone can change their server and knock another site
out of Google?

From what you've told them, there's no reason whyy they should.

The page in the cache (from someone else's site) is dated mid-
November.

But according to your sitemap that's a valid copy:

<url>
<loc>http://www.nlp-hypnotist.co.uk/</loc>
<priority>1.00</priority>
<lastmod>2008-09-29T19:23:36+00:00</lastmod>
<changefreq>daily</changefreq>
</url>

This is, of course, nonsense - as so many sitemaps are.  But read
exactly what you are saying to Google with it - the index page hasn't
changed since 29 September, even though you say it changes "daily".

People left, right and centre complain that Google doesn't exploit
sitemaps.  But if they ever really start to, people like you are going
to be in REAL trouble because your sites simply aren't going to get
recrawled.

I suggest you change your sitemap as follows:

a) Delete all <changefreq> daughter tags.
b) Update all <lastmod> values TO THE DATE EACH PAGE WAS LAST CHANGED
- _NOT_ TODAY. That's very important.
c) Reload the sitemap.
d) Resubmit the sitemap (optional, but speeds it up a bit).

It's on its way to getting fixed.

Some datacenters have the bad cache and some have the good cache.

But I cannot run again into the good one and I didn't take a copy of
the url.

and nothing to do with being hacked. How do i contact the server guys
now ? As im with heart internet and they are usless and have no tec
support. Hear are the details of the servers we are on along with the
