Subject: fishingrod.com the same as fishing-rod.com?
Quick query
In choosing a site name, will google split out fishingrod.com and know
its a site about fishing and rods?
or will it think its a site solely about fishingrods and not associate
it with fishing and rods in general?
Thanks
S

Is amazon.com a site about a river in South America?
They associate a domain with the content on it and the links pointing
to it, not the name.

If you do a Google search for
fishing rod
you can see that these words are found
in URLs even if they are not separated by
hyphens.
