Not exactly, but google is known not to report all sites linking to
yours. They seem to think it's some kind of protection against too much
search engine optimization.
Try your search on yahoo, they show more accurate results.

That is done by google, if it suspects an exeptionally  high relevance
of a site for a specific key phrase (for example company when searching
for a company or university). You have no way to get google to show
theses hints for you.
