Hi.
I by accident deleted the sitemap for my sitemaps page. There is no
re-submit button. How do i add it again??

happening to others but I have not encountered it myself.

I have the same problem on my site.  I deleted the sitemap by accident
and now have to submit a request by http request.  For some reason, the
add new site map dissapears and there is not a thing we can do.  I even
tried to delete my ste and re-add it but it just added the same, wih no
site map add....

try to submit with http request using your website name and your site
map location to:

www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=http://www.example.co...

I've managed to get the same problem, but by adding the site then not
"adding a sitemap" in the first session. When I returned there was no
add sitemap option. Ditto re removing and adding the site again - still
no add sitemap option. Have submitted via the ping, am now hoping for
the best ... most frustrating. Anyone got a workaround ?

change preffered domain to where your sitemap is.

Hi SMaymann,

That is very strange and weired !!!!

But if that append you can delete your Site on the My Sites tab and
than create a new sitemap.xml

But first check if on the left top of the Sitemap tab is one link named
"Add a Sitemap", just on the View DropDown Menu.
