When the push came for an &lt;br&gt; amalgamation of all the separate suburban councils into a Greater &lt;br&gt; Brisbane City Council in 1925, our lad had so much input as Chief &lt;br&gt; Clerk of the Home Secretary, that it became known as &#39;Chuter`s Bill&#39;.

  Hi all ,I was sitting around the other day doing a reminisce of the Valley etc all sorts of things appeared ,can any one ? remember seeing a &amp;quot;zoo?&amp;quot; at where the old Crypt once was ,I can vaguely remember going there one night and seeing animals in cages etc , any thoughts ,Terry Murphy [kallangur]

  Thanks, Ray, My mum grew up in the Valley and used to name-drop all &lt;br&gt; the time. Never heard that mentioned. (Or maybe I was turned off at &lt;br&gt; the time :-)) But i do remember Ellendene Private Hospital in &lt;br&gt; Brunswick Street-----------------because I was born there. :-p
