Subject: Information for Beta 2
Hi All,
Over the past few weeks we've received a number of pieces of feedback on
Beta 1 testing. As a result of this we've identified and corrected
several issues.

Additionally with relation to Java SPEP software we have made a small
architectural change. Previously this software required a large number
of dependencies to be stored in $TOMCAT/shared/lib (or equivalent for
your container of choice). This has been reworked by Shaun to remove
this need, all SPEP binary dependencies are now stored within the SPEP
webapp (with the exception of around 5 endorsed components, these
continue unchanged). This will greatly improve the upgrade process in
the future for users.

This is tagged as feature request SPEPJ-17 in Jira.

Compatibility wise SPEP B1 and SPEP B2 have no differences and both will
work against ESOE of either release. Naturally while in the beta phase
we encourage you to upgrade when we release.

At this point in time I expect to see Beta 2 rolled out early next week
after we spend the next few days testing our now completed internal build.

regards,
Bradley
