I own an eBay store stocked with industrial supplies. Sales ebbs and
flows. Do you guys have good ideas to promote the store and generate a
steady revenue? Thanks!

What some of our customers have done is to create a second online
store that is not an eBay store and then have the two linked together.
The issues of getting traffic (visitors) to your eBay store are no
different than with an online store generally. With an eBay store
there is less capability to promote the store and manage the look and
feel etc so you are more constrained. On the positive side eBay gets
lots of visitors so if you can combine the best of both worlds you can
gain an advantage. So you set up an online store (not in eBay) and you
have your products listed in both places. If you use the right
technology you can integrate with eBay so you don't have to double
manage your products.

Hope this helps
