The controversial game Manhunt 2 will be coming to PC, two years after its release on the Wii, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, and will have an Adults Only ERSB rating, reports TVGB.
Rockstar is re-releasing Manhunt 2 the way they originally intended in all its AO glory, although for PC this time around. Set for Nov. 6th and available now for pre-order on direct2drive.com, it will not be available for pick up at your local Wal-Mart since many of the main retailers do not allow AO games to taint their store shelves.
The original release of Manhunt 2 was given an M rating, after content had been removed to avoid the AO rating, at the behest of Sony and Nintendo. It's probable that the cut content has been restored for the PC release.

Instead of releasing 2 year old clichéd gorefests, why don't they release some of the GTA4 expansion packs - or even do a decent job of porting it in the first place? Tossers.

Or collaborate with the various comic/manga and animation studios and create GTA Toontown (or something similarly imaginative).
Oh, right, that means the final product won't arrive until 2015 at the earliest. What was I thinking? 9_9
Still, we can enjoy the fanart that the games inspired. ^_^
Signed, Warewolf who would also be surprised if other 'conditions' could be met.

I dunno, I'm kind of interested in it. Considering the stuff that gets rated M (decapitations, ridiculous amounts of blood, language) its hard to imagine what the hell its gonna have to push it to the next level. Extremely graphic cut scenes?

No, the cut content included... er... death by mutilating genitalia. Sick stuff like that.

Since the second expansion only just game out, on DVD as well as download, I'd assume Microsoft will want to keep it exclusive at least until Christmas. I hope Wankstar was smart enough to seriously gouge MS for the exclusivity, they can afford it.
Personally I think the PC port plays OK, it just needs removing the annoying social club crap and extra waiting stuff from startup. I think the last patch removed the anti-modding meaasures too.

I have relatives in AUS on both sides of the family so can get in to Aus with no problems, but why would I want to when they ban almost every game that comes out? I choose to live in a *free* country called Canada.

Hopefully there won't be a nuclear WW3 but if there is, and the Australian people have turned feral and are hunting each other down like wild animals at least they will be able to claim the moral high ground when they it wasn't the violent video games that turned them mental! :-)

I've always wanted to visit Canada (mainly for the skiing). Which part are you from...so I know to avoid it? ;-p
