In case you missed it, Marble Madness IS compatible with ZIP GS.
It isn't, however, compatable with the Apple High Speed SCSI card.

GSVT is a terminal program that emulates Tektronics 4010
graphics and VT100 commands. I actually suspect that this problem might
be a compatability problem with system software 5.0.4 (but I'm not
very certain).

This is a PD INIT by Guy T. Rice. I have a Sonic Blaster and
don't remember getting an INIT, did you?

Yes, it works with the Zip disabled as long as the Zip CDev and
Zip Init are not in the system.setup folder.
