We use the XRGB-2 for our LCD monitors with the IIgs. It has a scart
connector and is easily cabled with information from Jim Maricondo's
website at [link]
I would say that is your best bet. (That is until someone finishes a
new converter card).

I dont remember the upgrade but there might have been another chip
that was included. It's been too many years, but I had 5 of them. I
will see if I can dig up my notes on it, however, do not use the
3.01EZ card if you value your data.

The 3.01EZ ROM has a bug in it which is why it was followed up by the
3.01F ROM. The bug is, if I remember correctly one that causes
complete data loss with the drive and should not be used. (It seems to
me there was one function that caused this in particular but I dont
have my notes in front of me.)

The Apple IIgs beep is actually generated old-school, by triggering
the speaker port at $C030. That's why the Gus emulator had sound
resources for the IIgs system beep sound effect; it didn't emulate the
$C030 sound toggle register, so to get the system beep working, they
patched the beep routines to play a Mac sound resource file instead.

Some discussion on the Wikipedia page got me wondering: how is the Apple
IIgs beep generated? Some say it is an algorithmically drawn waveform, fed
to the DOC, while others suppose that it is generated by the Ensoniq.
Anyone have the full details?

I can't find any GetFileName95 in the commdlg header, but it *may*
be WINE's name for the OpenFileName structure which contains a DWORD
member called Flags. In the commdlg header one of the flags
definitions I see is: #define OFN_ENABLESIZING 0x00800000. It's
just a guess but maybe the dialog you see when you open a file in

Not having them all in front of me. Yes the Rev. D was the one for the
IIgs the other one was about twice the size (older) that was used in
the II - IIe, and also in the IIgs.
