Deskjet 450(?).

Some discussion on the Wikipedia page got me wondering: how is the Apple
IIgs beep generated? Some say it is an algorithmically drawn waveform, fed
to the DOC, while others suppose that it is generated by the Ensoniq.

between the later ROM revisions? What is the difference between 3.01F
and 3.01-EZ? My EZ appears to have a different main chip (Zilog) than my

that may affect the quality of CB's video signal. When playing back

I have a question about the error-checking mechanism used on the Disk ][.
As I understand it, checksums are used to verify that the data read from the
disk are valid and error-free. However, would there be a way to skip these
checks? Is there any software that does so?

film capacitor. There was a previous thread about this but I am a bit
confused on the cap in question. Apparently these caps are a common

One language has its own character font like English. If Spanish,
German, or other languages are chosen, then character font must be

So I finally got a Small 14" flat screen VGA made by EIZO.
Now the first thing I noticed when I hooked it up is that the JAT menu
screen is in the center of the screen surrounded by a large white
frame. The actual image area is only about 1/4 of the total available
screen area...is this normal? MAybe it's a screen size issue???
