Let him complain. It's an environmental health issue and they will attend
and monitor your noise levels if it's that bad. Why not have a word with the
other neighbours to see if they find it loud or not.

Noise pollution can be a problem but if this arse is complaining over
nothing then just ignore him.

I'm fortunate that I have great neighbours and a good insulation
accoustically.

However I do also use wireless head phones which are great for Rock
music. Try it, you might be pleasantly suprised. So might your
neighbour ! lol

Anyone here have problems with neighbours complaining about loud

Not sure how well received the album was there in GB but Holy Chit!!
It was huge here. It got a tremendous amount of play on the radio
here. Alice is a neighbor of mine - well, when I say neighbor, he
actually lives about 16K from me but close-by nonetheless.

No I don't think the bands have any connection Ray, Silvertide is or was a
Philly band and Shinedown were formed by Brett Smith and are from Florida. I
have The Sound Of Madness and I love it dearly :)

i saw something about Automatic Fire recently - didn't realise it was
Walt ! i think they played somewhere in Philly recently. bugger -
missed them.
i believe that Shinedown were formed by the original guitarist from
Silvertide ? their stuff is fairly listenable too - but for me it
doesn't compare to Silvertide.

Hey Stoopid - Alice Cooper

I have to agree wtih Andrew about The Wall as well - one of my 3
favourite Floyd albums, the other two being Dark Side and Division

Not sure what triggered the mood but for the past couple of weeks I've
been listening to "big sound" albums. Yes 90215, ELP In The Beginning,
Genesis And Then There Were Three, Aldo Nova (He fits into my category
due to the fact that he plays all of the instruments on his solo

I love Pink Floyd, and for me The Wall has aged perfectly over the
last 30 years. It's pretty much the soundtrack of the 1980s. and was
one of the first rock albums I can ever remember hearing around the
age of 5, I grew up with it in. It can be hard to get into if your

I agree Ray, Show and Tell is a fantastic album and I waited and waited for
something to happen with the band, but I guess that they have split as Walt
Lafty has formed a new band this year called Automatic Fire

totally agree about 'The Wall' - the one time I got to see Pink Floyd
- at Earls Court for The Wall. never liked it at all. even 'The Final
Cut' was marginally better.
but Animals is great, along with 'Dark side' , 'Wish you were here'
'Meddle' and 'Obscured by Clouds'

still waiting to hear Them Crooked Vultures.
