Unintended Redirect to homepage after Implementing 'Remember_Me' Component

Hi guys,

Implemented 'remember_me' component mentioned in the following
article,
[link]

Sometimes works fine, sometimes got redirected to homepage
unintendedly upon accessing any pages.

Anyone have the same problem?

Thanks,

Unfortunately there are a lot (15-20) of fields that would have to be
tested. I guess I could do something like reading the schema for the
table and then figuring out the default value form there, changing it
before saving but I'm hoping there is a simpler way.

Hi Lemp,

If recursive = 0 or recursive = -1 doesn't give you all wanted data use contain to minimize the data you export. I had the same problem with an xml export and this heleped.

I am so sorry jon was busy with inserting code in to CAKE .

Well finally i have decided to use [link]
for my import method it will require

only two of the files or simply excel Folder there inside this
phpexcelreader . And thats it hoping to finish it ASAP so

Hi Zoltan,
I am not too sure but what i can suggest is that
before saving your records chk if that field is blank

then give its value as $this->data['model name']]['field name']=0;

use this just before save.

Hi ,

I got solution for above problem but facing a new problem in case of
edit

echo $form->create(null, array('url' => array('controller' =>
'blogs', 'action' => 'education_index', 'education' => true), 'name'

it's generating url : <form name="blogform" id="BlogIndexForm"

there in Mysql.

Sorry about the cryptic subject line...

I have a few fields like category_id_1, category_id_2 and they're set
up in mysql to be not Null and with a default value of 0.

Now on the controller/view side I have something like:
$form->input( 'Venue.category_id_1', array( 'empty' => true, 'options'

According to me Brian is right !!

These type of errors come when allocated memory is lesser . So
allocated memory in PHP INI needs to be increased .

So to clarify your first idea -- would my model associations look
something like this?

- Invitations belongTo Users (senders/creators).
- Invitations haveAndBelongToMany Users (invitees)
- Friends belongTo Users

One issue I'm seeing with all this is invitees are often not
