Sorry I forgot to include this with my last email.
The focus groups as part of my evaluation into Families on Bikes revealed a number of parents with older kids want longer rides. This is an event you may like to consider. It's 40km long, is a gorgeous route (goes over the West Gate Bridge) and has designated rest stops with water, toilets etc.
I rode it last year with a team including an 8 year old and an 11 year old (I think) - they did extremely well.
Let me know if you're interested. I'm happy to organise group training rides.
Regards, Kathy

350 is the number that leading scientists say is the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Scientists measure carbon dioxide in "parts per million" (ppm), so 350ppm is the number humanity needs to get below as soon as possible to avoid runaway climate change. To get there, we need a different kind of PPM-a "people powered movement".
