Perhaps our last game of the season and rather than think of it as a filler till the new season how about we set off on winning the last match of the current season? Three wins for the season will sound much better than the shocking form of two wins? (Is it 2 wins so far?) Who's going to turn up sober? Melbourne Cup has always been a challenging round to field a full team. Will it affect us this year?

When I asked what position we are on the ladder: "Blackout are coming 5th out of 5 by 9 points" hmm, What the fcuk does that mean?? maybe we will have to rename the season to the "bring me back a wooden spooner" But I'm sure next season is going to be awesome especially with the performance of the team in the last couple of weeks. Loges,

Although it will mostly be regarded as a forgettable season, Spring 2006 can at least not be known as the worst. Although not far from it truth be known! Round 16 saw Blackout pull a win out of the hat with only having won 1 skin! Score was Blackout: 97 def Chokers: 83.
Three stars were 3 to Mark, 2 to Todd and the remaining star went to Langy.
Hope you picked the winner in the Melbourne Cup as I know Delta Blues brought home the bacon for me! They'll be no match next week as we failed to make the Semis (shock horror!) but the Summer 2006/07 starting match shall be announced soon. Stay tuned!
