An exclusive deal has been struck by Blackout's Rashid to get Matty to play in next Tuesday's game in an attempt to gain some real fire power both in batting and bowling. With Blackout's recent struggle with form it has been often commented that some younger fire power would be welcomed. The likes of Chris and Waqas playing fulltime in a Blackout squad would be a much needed change. So, Matty's ability on the field is no secret to Blackout as he was playing with the side for a few years and scaring the opposing sides into submission with his scary bowling, lighting fast keeping and aggressive batting. It will be a welcome addition to the side should he decide to re-join on a fulltime basis. Matty's first return to Black will be for our Round 4 game against a side yet to be named by Sportworld.
Just an update to this story. It is unlikely we'll see a full time return to Blackout for Matty as he is not 100% keen on a return. Which is fair enough and we appreciate his honesty. Wouldn't want to have to drag a player week in and week out onto the court against their will. So despite a very dissapointed Rashid, all is not lost as last night's match against "The Biggest Losers" showed that we can gel and when Blackout clicks it can be oh so great to watch!
