I believe that convicted felons should be allowed to vote by absentee ballot during their imprisonment, and retain their right to vote during their parole.

Hi. Where I'm from they can vote when they've done their time (unlike some places where I understand the ban is for life). I don't think they are allowed to vote anywhere while still in prison.

You are wrong. There are places where a prison sentence doesn't affect one's right to vote.
