Of course, search engine rankings are largely meaningless for the stock photography industry, with search hits having almost no correlation with sales. Indeed, some of us do not want search engine access to our specialized images, preferring to give access only to legitimate clients. Rankings of hits from legitimate stock photo users would be another matter, but that is not at all what the search engine rankings give. It's better to spend one's time/money promoting to potential photo users rather than fiddling around with tweaks to improve one's general, meaningless search rankings. Carl May more than someone visiting his site, it's the link to the site making it into some forums so it'll go up in search engine rankings, etc - don't give the parasites the publicity...
