Dear all,
I've found the thread about which cameras certain agencies list as
acceptable/non acceptable interesting. As I understand it Getty film
submissions need to be drum scanned or from a narrow range of expensive
high end scanners only. Do list members find that justifiable or do
some see it as overkill/an artificial barrier?

 Hello everybody:
My situation was very similar except I only got one answer from a major publisher, most of the others were private users and I don't expect to see any money from that.
Yesterday evening I received an angry and threatening e-mail from Fred V. He asked me to stop harrasing his clients. The truth is that people that will try to steal your images from internet will always exist, and there will also be people smart enough to try to break whatever we do to stop that. My point is that Acclaim violated our rights for allowing these people to download whatever they wanted without proper follow-up.

They have tons of money, never do original research and never mention their "targets". They always use secondary companies to keep private.

Also the investment side is Smith Barney Investments and the division is Citigroup Global Markets.

Portrait Photography : One of the Greatest Arts
By: Ispas Marin
Before doing any portrait photography there are some very important questions that any photographer should ask himself. What kind of light source it’s going to be used? From what angle the light will fall on the subject? What film, camera and lens are best to use? If you manage to answer all this questions before taking the photo then you will probably make quite a good portrait photography. But i know that you don’t want a good portrait photography, you want a perfect one. So the best way to achieve this performance is to talk with the client trying to know him, his past, his desires. This way you can create distinctive portraits. If you want a real great portrait then you have to add a bit of the client’s personality in the photo. This works very well especially when you make female portrait photography. You shouldn’t look for a face that is over painted by a makeup artist. Try to surprise something that really represents the subject.

 Hi Ethan,

I really like that idea of having the customers rank, that way there is no bias within the company.... EXCELLENT idea!

Jamie Voetsch

------------------------------ ---
Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo!
