Check out the Hindsight software for yourself. Free demo and other info
available at www.hindsightltd.com. I believe you can also get/buy a demo
direct from Photobyte. Photobyte will be launching a new version soon. My
recommendation is Hindsight.

This list, or may be it is Photopro, has had a lot of correspondence about
these two pieces of software. Comments have all been good regarding
Hindsight, and all bad, very bad, regarding Photobyte. Hindisght is
currently for Mac only. It will be a year before the PC version is available.

Both excellent.  Hindsight better for stock file management and you
can change reports and labeling to suit you.  With PhotoByte you
cannot.  that alone is enough to convince me.  PhotoByte is
graphically beautiful.

Best bet is to get their demos and play for quite a while.  That may
cost you $25 each, but compared to the time you are going to spend
with any of the programs, it is like marriage.

Check classified in Photo District News and order all of them to
compare.  OR call them and tell them what you are trying to do.

All of them are labors of love.

A 3 mb demo is available from the Hindsite website for free. Unfortunately, my
Netscape crashed three times last night when I tried to download it.

Photobyte's website is still "under construction" According to their
counter, I was the eighth visitor in the past two months.
