Bioenergy Australia 2007
Sustainable Energy in a Carbon Constrained World

Australia's premier bioenergy conference, Bioenergy Australia 2007, will be
held at the Gold Coast International Hotel, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast,
Queensland on 26-27 November, with a technical tour on 28 November.

The program will cover policies and programs, projects and project
development case studies and emerging opportunities.

The conference will consider many facets of bioenergy, including:

*       Biomass supply
*       Liquid biofuels
*       Pyrolysis bio-oil
*       Biorefining
*       Anaerobic digestion
*       Energy-from-waste
*       Heat and power
*       Overarching aspects of bioenergy, such as life cycle emissions and
land use competion.

Professor Andre Faaij from the Copernicus Institute at the University of
Utrecht, The Netherlands, leader of the International Energy Agency's
Bioenergy Task on Sustainable International Bioenergy Trade will provide the
keynote address.

The technical tour is planned to cover anaerobic digestion using ultrasound
to speed up the production of biogas, a visit to the Condong Sugar Mill
cogeneration power plant, a wood energy pellet production facility and a
multi-purpose plantation.
