Re: [BarCampSydney: 89] Getting Unorganised for BarCamp Canberra

Ivo Brett <ivo.br...@gmail.com>

Hi Stephen,

Alison sent around the complete list of feedback which
you may have seen.

Couple of stand out things that i thought worked
really well.

- speed networking early on in the day. Its a great way
to break the ice and also fits in really well initially when you dont
have many speaking slots filled
- have the schedule well away from the
doors and try not to have too many loud conversations outside the
rooms
- mick and i set up one of the rooms to be more round chair
style (ie. All chairs in a circle). The other rooms were classroom
style. That worked well.
- every barcamp the enterprenuerial type
sessions (advice, success stories, group therapy) tend to get big
crowds so try to encourage any enterprenuers to get together for a
group chat

Hope that helps
Ivo
