Subject: Re: [BarCampSydney: 89] Getting Unorganised for BarCamp Canberra
Hi Stephen,
Alison sent around the complete list of feedback which
you may have seen. Couple of stand out things that i thought worked really well. - speed networking early on in the day. Its a great way to break the ice and also fits in really well initially when you dont have many speaking slots filled - have the schedule well away from the doors and try not to have too many loud conversations outside the rooms - mick and i set up one of the rooms to be more round chair style (ie. All chairs in a circle). The other rooms were classroom style. That worked well. - every barcamp the enterprenuerial type sessions (advice, success stories, group therapy) tend to get big crowds so try to encourage any enterprenuers to get together for a group chat Hope that helps Ivo On 4/6/08, Stephen Collins <t...@acidlabs.org> wrote: > So, here's what I've learned: > - be early to the venue if you're an unorganiser > BCS folks, anything I should add or have missed? > Steve > acidlabs - strategies, tools and processes to empower knowledge workers Sent from Gmail for mobile | mobile.google.com You must Sign in before you can post messages.
