Janine Cahill has invited Bar CampSydney to her Global Futures Event on Sunday 17th August 2008.

The venue for this year is in the grounds at the neighbourhood centre and Town Hall near the old Hub Theatre at Newtown.

If you you like to go ahead with a mini Barcamp, there has been a larger area allocated for Barcamp in the Town Hall

Getting Unorganised for BarCamp Canberra

So, here's what I've learned:
- be early to the venue if you're an unorganiser
- have lots of markers, big labels (for name tags), butcher's paper,
Blu-Tack and Post-Its
- make sure the wifi works - Meraki FTW
- know the venue (we need to visit in the next week to scope it)
- be nice but firm on the time slots
