I don't know if anyone has replied off-list.

The best sources of information are probably the Department of Primary
Industries and the Department of Agriculture. CSIRO might also have
done some work on oilseed crops.

The Australian Plants Society is more concerned with promoting the
conservation and cultivation of Australian plants than with
agricultural production.
