Subject: Naming of Grevillea 'Lady O'
Hi,
I am new to this forum and hope to get the odd question answered here
and there if possible. My first question is where did Grevillea 'Lady
O' get it's name? Any ideas? The main reason I ask is because I came
across this and it's left me wondering is this it:

Thanks for any help...

Grevillea "Lady O"  was named after the mother of the breeder, Peter
Ollerenshaw from Bywong NSW. His mother was called Lady O by friends
and when she died, Peter placed flowers from this Grevillea on her
coffin. Someone suggested to him that he name it after her, so he
did.  Did you know that Grevillea "Billy Bonkers" was named after the
breeders dog, Richard Tomkin at Changers Green Nursery in Queensland.
