Hi Clyve

Is that High been at that latitude for some time?

There was one at 50 degreees south, more to the west, a week or so ago.

Back to my first sentence, I notice reports on TV last night of lots of snow and coldness at relatively low altitudes in and around Queenstown NZ.  I wonder how this is linked to the postition of the strong high, south of NZ.
