Hi all.
An interesting V/Max approaching western Bass Strait, appears to be a =
500hpa PVA max, a reasonable baroclinic band of cloud along the 500hpa =
trough, may produce some good rainfall near the Otways and west/south =
Gippsland today. This cloud band when west of Tasmania yesterday =
appeared more like a 'warm front' in the mid levels, although today the =
polar jet and a weak dry slot punches into the southwest =
