Virgin mobile sent me a letter saying (in part) that they have ".. two new charges coming into affect" from 1st. Dec. Isn't our education system just wonderful!
"Brumby claims police on every corner wouldn't reduce violence, but speed cameras everywhere reduces speeding. Oh, that's right, no revenue in locking up thugs"
"Now that we are seeing the results of the social experiment conducted by Christine Nixon, turning our police force into peace keepers rather than law enforcers, could we please go back to some real policing?"
"I will save water if two things happen: a dam gets built and Labor goes"
"This is where Labour has brought us with border protection- paying Muslims to leave us alone!"

Virgin Mobile is the children's mobile network. The staff mightn't have got to the grade where they teach big words yet. I bet you'll get perfect spelling if you get them to write:
The cat sat on the mat.

How about a 2009 VCE examination paper titled "Mathesmatics" :-)

Was there really? At least it wasn't "Englisch" :-)

I don't look at EPGs very often, but I just looked at Ten in Windows Media Center, and there are brief program descriptions preceding the copyright for the shows I looked at.

Really? It's the only channel that always shows nothing on my box. Do you have ICE TV or other info service perhaps? Or maybe they just use a different system to everyone else, like the ABC does with it's time codes? It seems the great thing about digital TV "standards" is that there are so many for the channels to choose from! :-(

10 shows only a webpage reference for my SD boxes and the HD tuner TV. No great loss, the weekly messenger is really all I use, it accepts Pencil 1.0 notation :-)

Nope. I just checked my Topfield TF5000PVRt Masterpiece and the descriptions are there too.
What box do you have?

As I said, all the other channels are OK, so Ten must be doing something wrong/different than the rest. Why can't they all do what works for the majority, not just for some?

So my hardware is not doing what they expect, like I care, but they probably should. Ten fails to show me what they want me to see, while the others manage to. Their fail, my 0.5 out of 10 caring. Not going to change hardware when I usually read up online beforehand anything that looks promising anyway.
Mildly interesting thought, their revenue is based on ratings, how do they know the raters have the same information as the general public?
If you really care I expect they will just say 'spend more'. NOPE, I am a luddite, cheap and works well enough is good enough for me. No debts and gained 30% in the global meltdown, bad bad consumer me, not their target audience :-)

For something that you only care 0.5 out of 10 about, you spent ten minutes typing your dummy-spit in relation to it. I'd hate to see how angy and upset you'd get if something happened to you that you DID care about.
> If you really care I expect they will just say 'spend more'.
Yep, that's exactly what the ABC told me because they can't be bothered transmitting the correct prime offset code for the transmitter location. Everyone else can, but my 8 cents a day isn't enough for the ABC to bother it seems.
