Yes, very slippery. But to give Slippery John Qu0le credit he's got an uncanny knack of backing the Wrong horse. He's world champion at it in fact. His most famous would be his blanket support for GW Bush and his war crimes, but then there was his semi erect week long slow wank over Little Willy Mason leading up to Mason's KOing by Kidwell. He got on the K hunt bandwagon just in time to be too late. He was in boots and all predicting the Aussie wouldn't lose the ashes again this year and probably backed Red Ruler to win the Caulfield Cup (by 50) this year as well.
There are few certainties in life, but one thing I have learned from my newsgroup is that when Johnbr0 tips out a winner the curse is set. If Gallen wasn't such an ape you'd be tempted to feel sorry for him.
I just hope that when he gets sent off he goes graciously and doesn't biff the ref.

Hope he gets on the Storm next year.
I've been in a biff with Gallen. He goes alright. I didn't stay hit though.

Honestly, same applies to Mick Crocker, Greg Bird and Anthony Watmough IMO.
Watmough at least HAS carved up with ball in hand occasionally. Defensively he's useless.
Crocker, Bird and Gallen seem to have reputations as great representative players because they're "tough"...some time in the last decade "tough" has got confused with "thuggish".
