Rodans season gone... knee
That would be a little disappointing for him Port Adelaide's David Rodan will undergo a knee reconstruction that will destroy his hopes of playing a part in the 2010 AFL season. The exciting midfielder went down on his left knee at training on Wednesday morning, and an MRI scan confirmed he had torn his anterior... more »

=??Q?How_much_are_FIFA_shittin g_in_their_own_nest=3F?=
I've been laughing a lot at this campaign by the FFA to host a WC. "Safe, friendly, Secure" or whatever it is. So many assumptions by the FFA, like the owners/trustees of grounds like the 'G or Subi, even the Gabba would happily snub their cash cows the AFL and let FIFA run the show. The demand by FIFA to have a 2km exclusion zone around the venues for 8 weeks as well as control all advertising, before, during and after a game plus no allowing any other sport use the facilities reeks of elitism.... more »

=??Q?Who_wants_to_Post/host_th e_ASAR_Netiquette,_FAQs_(inc_e xtracts_of_Laws_of_the_Game)=3 F?=
The lastest faq is v3.1.3, which uses Laws of the Game 2008. I would be happy to continue to do if I had my own domain - which I don't want yet, but it really needs a fresh eye to update and correct. It's not a huge job or responsibility, so if you are interested, let me know. Thanks. Have a safe and happy break, and let's get stuck into it next year.... more »

Everybody happy with the draft
Again we see the "ratings" of how clubs did in the draft and apparently every club got just about exactly what they wanted and they are all delighted with their picks. Now every club can go and sell its memberships telling all prospective members this fantastic news. Pity it really means that no club has really got any real advantage over... more »

Who your club picked
Cant believe Ball made it all the way through! Who your club picked November 27, 2009 . ADELAIDE No. 13 Daniel Talia (Calder Cannons, 18, 194cm, 89kg) Crisp-marking key forward/back who is calm under pressure but has plenty of intensity. All-Australian under 18. No. 29 Jack Gunston (Sandringham, 18, 191cm, 74kg)... more »

Ball has bluff called....
Hilarious that Melbourne must recruit an expensive player to meet the *minimum* 92.5% Salary Cap expenditure for 2010! Apparently they need to recruit Ball to get them over the line. Why can't they be like Richmond and pay virtually 100% of the cap every year for their under-performing duds?
