After terminating a train at this station some days ago I heard classical music being played over the PA. THe SM tried this as and experiment and much to his delight it work in driving away the riff raff from loitering on the platfrom.
Apparently the local kids were using this station as their local haunt .... but not anymore. Its a pity that this idea has NOT bee tried at more stations, particularly on the Bankstown Line

I don't know about this being the SM's experiment - it was trialled successfully at about 20 stations last year (I think some were Emu Plains, Penrith, Blacktown, Central to name a few). "Technical difficulties" prevented its immediate introduction (something about copyright?).
