I need a source for a 200 pf or there about's air variable with better
spacing than the unit in service atm which is ex broadcast rx with
plates removed , it simply wont handle the limit so a better unit is
required for the remote tuner

Hi All,
Had no luck with Ham Radio Deluxe with the R7000 (the 7100 isnt
supported).
It seems to be HRD with the problem, as when I tried
Spectrum Commander, both rigs connect up right away with no dramas.
Only 'small' catch is the USD$160 asking price... a bit too rich for me,
especially when so many other similar offerings have dissapeared off the

Howdy,
I note on the band plans that CW is allowed on basically all bands but
in reality, does anyone use CW on anything other than HF?
If so, on 2m for instance, do you just get on one of the lower simplex
frequencies, put out a CQ and hope for the best? I would have thought

Nagoya vehicle antenna mount

Anyone tried the Nagoya antenna mount that's floating around on eBay?
How are they for quality?
I need to mount an RFI VHF low antenna (the GI one), but the Mazda 3
can't have it mounted with a normal Z or L bracket due to stupid

How dead is HF at the moment??

Hi there,
This may sound like a dumb question but is HF pretty dead at the
moment?
I ask because I'm new to this hobby and only got my new HF radio
yesterday (FT450) and as yet I haven't heard a lot on it.
I'm in Adelaide and late last night I heard a guy in Bairnsdale Vic
but other than that and one other CW station that was too fast for me,
