This is a bit late , I had an icom 756 non pro that had a problem with the lcd so I contacted RFREPAIRS in wyong NSW whom said they would look at it for me . So I placed it in its carton with its fome packing and manuals that was on 25/1/08 with a money order for $88.00. I waited till mid Febuary and sent Mr Pinkney an email re my radio he told me that it was fixed and had it running just to make shure it was right and it would be posted on monday. 2 weeks later still no radio so rang his mobile number. He told me he was away working and would send it Monday . 1 week later still no radio. I rang his mobile he said a death in the family had taken him to W.A and someone in the office forgot to post it and that he was sorry and would give me a full refund. So I waited still no radio so I sent emails no answer So on 9/4/08 I had to send him a letter registered post demanding my radio back or I was taken him to small claims.Presto my radio was sent back box and package was damaged but my radio still worked and I'm still waitting for my refund ?
I understand your problem and greif over the radio but are you saying that the repair was completed and the unit worked and it was ok and he only charged $88 - I cant see why you expect a refund otherthan old mate had offered it..

no trent ,the radio still had the problem it went to the repairer with.he told me he fixed it then he said it was there again ?
