Still here in a few places. I think though that more efficient use of spectrum has meant those interested go off into 1:1 modes like PSK. I remember that after the "faster" modes like 9600FSK, the HAPN4800 and "newpsk" 8 carrier 2500BPS PSK (in SSB channel) packet seemed to lose its charm. I know there is still some 1200BPS AFSK around here but I dont use it myself.
BPSK31 is probably the most popular KB:KB mode around judging by the HF noises I hear. There are also some real slow and narrow people using WSPR, QRSS etc. I had a WSPR contact W5-VK2 on about 1W maybe 3 months ago. My interest now is more on low data rate telemetry from the motor vehicle and for that it looks like, Olivia will be the one to use. Thats on 2m BTW.
