Your opinion is valid. My opinion of the book is different but also
valid. Perception is reality.

I once knew of a bloke they called The Farmer, but the only relativity he
had with a farm was that his parents owned a farm and he grew dope in his
backyard in Brunswick.

Come on Nev, are you trying to point out that the 65% of motorcycle
fatalities (WA figures) that don't involve another vehicle are really
not the fault of the Volvo drivers?

Talking to various members of VicRoads and the Police Department
they say that you may lane split at the traffic lights to gain a front
position but do not encourage lane splitting whilst in moving traffic, as
you would be moving from lane to lane without signalling, but it may be okay
to overtake another vehicle in the same lane while passing to the right of

They've obviously chosen examples of single vehicle motorcycle crashes
which involved no external factors or influences to make a specific
point. Not sure what you think adding a few idiot drivers would do to
make it more accurate, besides making it less accurate. You obviously
don't get it. You're probably exactly the type of rider they're aiming

Easy peasy. The only time I've ridden with a dog on my bike was on the
Yarra Boulevarde in the 80s. The dog was between me and my pillion.
Nowhere near the handlebars. Dog was having a ball. I must admit to us
both being drunk and am surprised we survived that trip as the VF was
getting sparks off the road where we were bottoming the thing out
