Only 2 weeks until the Unaugural now, and I could use a little help. I have 2 positions available:
1. Funkytown Preparations Assistant
I spent today at Funkytown getting things ready, but there's still a few things left to do. The main parts are mowing grass (both ride-on and push mowing) and bulking up the bonfire until it's big enough to give a good simulation of Armageddon.
I'm going to be at Funkytown on both Saturday and Sunday of this coming weekend, I can probably get it all done but some help would be welcome.
What's in it for you? * A nice BBQ lunch; * An opportunity to use a chainsaw; * A waiver of the usual blue poofter drink entry fee to the Unaugural; * The adulation of your friends and acquaintances; * That feeling of insufferable smugness that comes from helping me out.
2. Unaugural '07 Official Photographer
Since Marty, Nev and Jo are all going to be somewhere else this year, the papparazi will be mighty thin on the ground. I'm usually too busy to take photos, and besides, the flash has just broken in my digital camera.
What's in it for you? * A big fancy title; * A special hat.

Oy BT,
Next weekend I have booked myself onto a day-ride to Adaminaby, but I'm still not sure which day it's supposed to be, and therefore I'm not yet absolutely sure which day I'll be available, but yeah, I can do a lawnmowing thing for at least a damned good part of one of those days....
Pick me!!!!! I'm applying/begging for this position so that (a) I know exactly where the hell the Unaugural will be held, and (b) I can see if I can ride my bike on your kms of bloody gravel without falling off!!!!!
Not sure how good I am at fire-stoking..... but I'll give it a go.

I'll be bringing my D/SLR and all my kit anyway, so I'll put my hand up for that.

Hmm, on second thoughts.... considering the "Betty's a witch, BURN HER!" chorus in another thread, perhaps bonfire building wouldn't be in my best interests....

Do you have a couldron handy? They're a bugger to carry on the back of a bike.
